This paneer tikka is the classic summer hit if you are carving for a vegetarian BBQ meal instigated with Indian food. In short, paneer tikka is a authentic Indian BBQ plate or dish made with Indian cheese, known as paneer, and other Indian tandoori spices.

For the Marinade
- 3 tablespoons Mustard Oil
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Paste
- 1 teaspoon Ginger Paste
- 1/2 cup thick Curds (Yogurt)
- 2 teaspoons Red Chilli Powder
- 1 tablespoon Coriander Powder
- 1 teaspoon Chaat Masala
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 1 teaspoon crushed kasuri methi
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- firstly, take ½ cup thick curd / yogurt in port.
- further add in all the spices.
- mix all till the spices are mixed well with curd.
- now add ½ onion petals, ½ cubed capsicum and 5 to 7 cubes of paneer.
- add 1 tsp of oil.
- mix it well till all the vegetables are coated well.
- furthermore, to marinate, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- after margination, add the marinated paneer, capsicum and onions into wooden sticks.
- further, roast it on a hot tawa or grill in oven.
- finally, sprinkle some chaat masala and serve paneer tikka immediately and serve!
